Cold, Rain, Moor

Well the prompts are out for the October challenge at obscurefandom and I managed to pick three that fit together so unremarkably that I'm a bit stumped for a story. I'm thinking something in the Pumpkin Scissors fandom, if I can't manage creepy with Orland's lantern I should give up any pretensions of creativity.
